wow. These stories aired on NPR are incredible. This Good article features two animated stories from StoryCorps, whose mission is to provide Americans with the opportunity to record, share, and preserve the stories of [their] lives.
Go listen and watch. One is a boy with Asperger’s interviewing his mom about their relationship and the other is an old couple, the husband on his deathbed, as much in love as the day they met.

It would be difficult but her decision was final, her conviction unwavering: the bed had to be put down. It had seen too much. She knew it would talk - and oh how it could talk; that’s how she’d gotten into this situation. Silencing it then finding her underwear was her only way out.
